A family legacy built on the foundation of humility and hard work. 

 

Leon Williams was born in 1942 in Pea Ridge, a small town in the rolling hills of North Georgia. At a young age, his family was forced to relocate to “Cabbage Town” in Atlanta, where he grew up in poverty. After marrying his better half, Judy, Leon began a career as a fireman. Ever the entrepreneur, he started a furniture restoration company in the basement of the firehouse. Out of this company began his commercial painting business. In 1970's, Leon Williams purchased his first apartment complex in the southside of Atlanta in order to begin the next phase of his never ceasing drive for betterment through opportunity. Soon after, a small business idea turned into a few thousand units and a way of life. Over four decades later, his business acumen and determination to treat others better than himself allowed him and the next two generations of his family to create a special group of family investors that gave birth to the OneStone group. His legacy and way of life has formed the very fabric of all the endeavors and operations still in place today.
